Description:

These large Asian Camponotus ants are active throughout the day, particularly active during the night, although they can also be active during the day in domestic conditions. The soldiers are truly massive, capable of delivering a strong bite and striking the skin with their heads. These ants have a rapid development compared to other Camponotus species and are quite voracious. The colony is likely to grow to several thousand workers. The soldiers from large colonies are much larger than ligniperda queens.
