Description
Description:
This species has really bad luck with parasites. It falls victim to the ants Polyrhachis lamellidens and moths from the genera Nyphanda and Lycaeides. The moth larvae are fed by the ants, and in the case of L. argyrognomon, they even pupate in their nest. Their pupae can be successfully used as a boost for ligniperda and herculeanus, and vice versa. Dual-species colonies make a great impression.
