Acrylic outworld for Ants 7.9x7.9x2.4 inches (20x20x6 cm)

An acrylic outworld with dimensions of 20x20x6 cm (7.9x7.9x2.4 inches), featuring our store logo, which also serves as ventilation. Upon opening the lid, a 3 cm (1.2 in) wide lip is revealed, which can be covered with talcum powder or another substance to prevent ant escapes. There are two options available: with rubber bands (allowing for easy disassembly and cleaning) and glued (providing higher sealing and a more aesthetic appearance). The arena has two openings for connecting a 10 mm (0.4 in) tube, plugs for the openings, convenient handles, and additional ventilation in each corner. The height of the arena, size of the lip, arrangement of ventilation and handles, as well as the convenient and perfectly fitting lid, are all designed to ensure optimal comfort during ant observation and arena maintenance.

How to choose the right option?

If your ants are the size of pharaoh ants, Temnothorax, or similar, it is recommended to choose the option with rubber bands. These ants will not escape, and you can easily disassemble the arena for cleaning or applying a new barrier. If your ants are smaller, such as floricola, chinense or obscurior, the glued arena is recommended. It is slightly heavier to use but offers much better sealing. During our tests on the three species mentioned earlier, only a few of the smallest workers from the floricola colony managed to escape.

We do not provide any anti-escape guarantee, but currently, these are perhaps the only arenas on the market that combine very high sealing, excellent user convenience, and a pleasing appearance.
