The 3D Nest with a plaster insert is an innovative solution that is especially suitable for keeping smaller or more "troublesome" colonies. Its key advantage is a maximum humidity gradient unheard of in such small nests, thanks to the division into a dry and a wet zone.

Two zones, many possibilities

Wet zone – responsible for maintaining high humidity, essential for species preferring a moist environment.
Dry zone – has its own humidity gradient, which will positively affect the development of dry-loving species. Ants can also keep pupae or seeds in this zone.
Chambers of various sizes – create an excellent place for colonies at every stage of development.

Well-thought-out hydration system

Special water chamber made of hard dental plaster.
Water soaks into the plaster, distributing moisture throughout the nest, without the risk of flooding the chambers.
No ant access to the water chamber – guarantees safety and less evaporation.

Compatibility and modularity

Compatible with our modular system – easy to expand with more nests or outworlds.
Possibility of connecting to other systems using an 8 mm tube (the entrance is minimally narrower, ensuring the tube fits very tightly).
Tight construction – even small and "escape-prone" species like floricola, chinense, or Cardiocondyla obscurior cannot squeeze under the cover glass.
