<h2>3D Modular Wooden Nest 10x10</h2>

<p>We present a new module in our proven system. The 3D modular wooden nest 10x10 is an innovative solution combining the safety of a hard casing with the natural properties of wood. It is an ideal choice for every enthusiast who wants to provide their ants with conditions as close to natural as possible.</p>

<h3>Innovative wooden interior</h3>

<p>The outer casing of the nest is printed in the color chosen at purchase, while the inside is made of a special polymer composite with a large admixture of natural wood particles. This material has a texture and properties extremely similar to real wood. Traditional wooden nests use very hard wood to prevent ants from chewing through it. In our product, the sealed outer casing completely solves this problem. Thanks to this, the wooden interior can be softer and more insect-friendly. In terms of properties, the insert resembles cork, but the use of a modern composite allows for incomparably higher aesthetics and precision of workmanship.</p>

<h3>Perfect microclimate for ants</h3>

<p>The wooden filling creates much better conditions for life and development than standard 3D printing or pure acrylic. The composite with the addition of wood perfectly absorbs moisture and then slowly releases it into the environment. This makes the nest an excellent environment for moisture-loving species, because ants can independently hydrate the interior and regulate the microclimate. Additionally, wood is a great insulator, so the nest is not cold to the touch, as is the case with plaster formicariums. We conducted tests on various species of ants, which proved that even very small colonies having problems in standard nests develop excellently here. Larger colonies of some species can in turn naturally hollow out the material and adjust the chambers to their own needs.</p>

<h3>Modularity and the highest safety</h3>

<p>The nest has up to four holes that can be used to connect with other nests, arenas or modular accessories using plastic connectors and screws. Nothing prevents you from bypassing our modular system and using the nest classically by connecting it with 8 mm hoses. The mounting system used is exceptionally solid. A water feeder, a plug or an appropriate connector can be pressed into two special holes. For full tightness, everything can be tightened with two screws included in the set. Even without the use of screws, the entire system remains really strong and stable.</p>

<p>The nest is closed with thick plexiglass secured with screws requiring a 1.5 mm Allen key. We confirmed the tightness of the structure with rigorous tests on exceptionally small species such as Monomorium pharaonis, Monomorium chinense and Monomorium floricola. We are sure that ants cannot escape through the gap between the plexiglass and the printed structure. If such an escape occurs and is documented, we will refund 100% of the nest value excluding mechanical damage.</p>

<p>For the convenience of advanced breeders, we will soon introduce replaceable wooden inserts to our offer for about 10 PLN. This will allow for a cheap and easy refresh of the nest and the use of the outer casing for another colony in the future.</p>

<h3>Colors and kit contents</h3>

<p>The full color palette known from our other products is available for the outer casing of the nests. The color selection can be made in the menu next to the price. In extreme cases of lack of the selected color in stock, the delivery time may be extended from 3 to 5 business days.</p>
