It is perfectly suited for breeding many species of slime molds including the most popular Badhamia polycephala known until 2023 under the former taxonomic name Physarum polycephalum.
The kit will allow you to breed a slime mold for many months for educational, scientific and entertainment purposes. It will also work perfectly as an unrivaled and live food for springtails and isopods. Depending on the chosen variant, feeding frequency and the reuse of dishes the kit will realistically last for 3 to 12 months of continuous breeding.

What do you need to know before buying?
The kit does NOT contain the slime mold itself (sclerotium). The slime mold must be purchased separately preferably from our offer! We provide professional facilities for months of its maintenance. Additionally you only need regular water, a glass and a spoon. That is all you will use at home to prepare the substrate from our ingredients.
