2 weeks ago i bought a queen and 11-20 workers of Temnothorax cf. nylanderi. They arrived 5 work days later in perfect condition, where more numerous and well packaged then what i ordered. I can only recommend. Truly professional work.

Description
Description:
This is the simplest species I've ever had in my hands. Ants can survive for several months without water and food and still produce queens during that time. Colonies with a single queen usually reach around 200-230 workers. More queens mean more workers, but the relationship is not directly proportional, and the difference becomes smaller with each additional queen.
There are two main advantages of this species. Firstly, they are SUPER easy and don't require a nest, making them perfect for beginners. Secondly, it is said that they are invisible to other ants. Most Camponotus, Formica, Aphaenogaster, and other ants larger than Lasius niger tolerate Temnothorax on their territory. In fact, they often completely ignore each other and can even fetch food from the same source at the same time. Therefore, Temnothorax is a great and inexpensive addition to the arena of another larger species.
Ants of this species exhibit remarkable cold resistance. It has been found that colonies can survive in temperatures below -30°C (-22°F). Personally, I have taken workers out of the snow at -10°C (14°F), thawed them in my hand, and watched as they got up and went about their business.
Sometimes, Temno ants from this offer come with tiny pieces of wood in the test tube as it's difficult to separate them. The pieces are small enough not to hinder observation.
