Description
Description:
Very little is known about this species, as it has not been thoroughly studied yet and is not easy to observe in the wild. Ants from the genus Aphaenogaster rarely forage. It is believed that they feed on honeydew from root aphids and insects that fall into the funnel-like entrances of their nests. They are primarily active at night. CAUTION! Do not exceed a temperature of 25 °C (77 °F) when heating.
