Description
Psalmopoeus pulcher – a beautiful arboreal tarantula native to Panama, also known as the Panama Blonde. It grows to about 5–6 cm in body length, and up to 14–16 cm with leg span. The species is distinguished by its light, golden-beige coloration with a delicate, velvety sheen. Fast and capable of being defensive, yet it usually avoids confrontation. It lacks urticating hairs, relying primarily on speed and threat displays for defense. It requires a tall terrarium with good ventilation, hiding spots such as cork bark tubes and vegetation, as well as moderately moist substrate. Recommended for intermediate and advanced keepers.
