Description

Breeding them is not difficult, but the developmental cycle takes a bit longer compared to most isopods, as long as 9 months. However, you can expect a larger number of small isopods in each brood. These isopods grow up to 3 cm (1.18 inches). The recommended temperature is around 22-25°C (71.6-77°F). They enjoy a diet rich in leaves and protein, and they love plenty of hiding spots. The enclosure should be relatively dry, and it's best to mist only the part where some sphagnum moss is kept.
