Description
Poecilotheria tigrinawesseli – a rare and exceptionally striking arboreal tarantula native to India. It reaches a body length of about 7 cm and a leg span of 18–20 cm. It is characterized by a bright, contrasting pattern with distinct dark markings and bluish accents on the legs. A very fast and defensive species with potent venom, which is why it is recommended exclusively for experienced keepers. It requires a tall terrarium with good ventilation and hiding places in the form of cork bark tubes.
CITES – Protected species. Each specimen sold comes with a CITES document confirming its legal origin.
