Description

Beautiful, super active, rare in cultivation, exclusive isopods with huge spikes. They climb a lot and, when disturbed or curious, they run fast. They require a well-prepared box - about 20 liters, good ventilation on one side, a moist area on the opposite side, a lot of sticks of various sizes, and pieces of bark, preferably 2-3 half coconuts a few cm above the ground. After a few months, the box should be full of medium-sized spiky balls. They sit on the walls, on sticks (usually from the bottom), in coconuts. They love to hang upside down. When fed and calm, they sit motionless for most of the day, especially the young ones, but when hungry they forage.
