Description

This variety originates from Japan. These isopods thrive in warm and dry enclosures. Higher humidity levels can cause issues with molting. In a home environment, it is best to provide a dry area and a moist (but not wet) corner. The "t+" symbol stands for "tyrosinase positive," indicating that these crustaceans produce an enzyme that results in darker pigmentation. This gives them yellow/purple shades. They are excellent choices for beginners.
